Yesterday, Honourable Benjamin Marfo and the staff of Amansie South District Assembly paid a visit to Manso Nkwanta Traditional Council today. This visit was in solemnization of the Akwasidae festival held at the Manso Nkwanta Omanhene’s Palace and officially introduced Honourable Benjamin Marfo to Omanhene and his Traditional Council.
Speaking at the event, the DCE said he is passionate about the development of Manso and traditional leaders also play a vital role and pleaded with them to make lands available whenever the district needs lands for projects.
Nana Bi Kusi Appiah II in his speech expressed his gratitude and honour for the district and urged Hon. Benjamin Marfo to collaborate with the DCE for Amansie West District and Traditional leaders for development especially the deplorable roads in the two districts.
On behalf of Amansie South District, Honourable Benjamin Marfo presented assorted items and undisclosed amount of money in support of the Akwasidae.
