The Amansie South District Assembly in a meeting today presided over by Hon. Samuel Amponsah, voted and accepted the President’s nominee – Hon. Benjamin Marfo as the District Chief Executive with overwhelming majority of 100%. The results as announced by the District Returning Officer is:
Total valid votes cast = 38
Yes=37
No = 0
Rejected=1
Honourable Benjamin Marfo in his speech thanked the president and the Assembly members for their confidence reposed in him.
He emphasized that as a long and experienced politician, his vision and passion are aimed at the development of Manso and needs the support of everyone to make his administration a successful one and Manso a better place for all.
