Earlier today, we commissioned an ultramodern police station at Manso-Nkran with source from the Minerals Development fund. Aside the required offices, it has three cells. A male cell, female cell and a juvenile cell each with two washrooms inside.
The dignitaries present were: Hon. Mireku Duker (MP/Deputy Mininster for Lands and Natural Resources), Hon. Addo Yaw Frimpong (MP/Deputy Minister for food and Agriculture), Hon. Clement Opoku Gyamfi Esq, (DCE for Amansie South District), and finance administrator at the Minerals Commission of Ghana. The Regional Police Commander (Chief Sup. Cantona), DSP Felix Akowuah (The District Police Commander), Nananom, The Local Management Committee, Institutional/ Departmental Heads, Assembly Members, and staff of Amansie South District Assembly.
Honourable Clement Opoku Gyamfi Esq in his speech admonished the police officers to be professional and law abiding as they enforce the law and make good use of the edifice. He also stressed on the need for the Minerals Commission to make funds available to complete some started projects for the benefit of the district.
