The Amansie South District Assembly yesterday held its Second Ordinary General Assembly Meeting of the Fourth Session of the Second Assembly at the District Assembly Hall. The meeting was chaired by the Presiding Member, Hon. Kwame Amponsah. The agenda were:
1. Presentation, discussion and approval of Executive Committee Report by District Chief Executive: Honourable Clement Opoku Gyamfi Esq
2. Approval of 2024 Fee-Fixing Resolution and Rateable properties
3. Discussion and approval of 2024 Annual Action Plan and Annual Composite Budget
4. Discussion of 2022 Auditor-General’s report.
The District Fire Commander and his Assistant also took time to educate the house on the causes, various stages, preventions, and control of fire outbreaks and the use of fire extinguishers as we are entering the dry season.
