The Amansie South District Assembly today 13th October, 2023 led by Honourable Clement Opoku Gyamfi through the share of the common fund supported some selected persons with disabilities in the district with some items and cash. Fifteen persons were given start-up Capital. Also, bags of flour, sugar, margarine, baking powder and vegetable oil were distributed.
The District Chief Executive in his speech assured the PWDs the government and district’s plans and continued support to make their lives better. The District Director of Social Welfare Department also urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the cash and items received for their economic empowerment and that his outfit will be monitoring the activities of the beneficiaries to ensure the effective utilization of the funds and items received. The PWDs expressed their gratitude for the items received and the district’s plans for their welfare.
